Cristian.. I think your art it beautiful. Seriously comtemplating buying myself one of these for my classroom. I'm very curious though exactly what a flow life represents. Is it that the first decimal place is 1, so its one the //1 portion? and then the second is 4, so the 'line' is drawn from the //1 to the //4 and so on? Would love to hear a little bit more about the math behind this!

Hello Kayla, The image shows the digits of π, e and phi, as a path traced by links between successive digits. Each digit is assigned a segment around the circle and each 10 segments are divided in n positions, in this case 10,000 positions. The position of the link on a digit's segment is associated with the position of the digit inside the number's string. For example, the "14" in "3.14..." is drawn as a link between segment 1 @position 2 and segment 4 @position 3 Hope this helps. Regards, Cristian.
